I sit at home all day not doing anything and procrastinating (mostly in the summer). I don't really want to do anything, I never go anywhere. I don't feel like anything is worth anything. Life is pointless.

So what's up with my thinking and how can i fix it? Cuz I KNOW its wrong.

life is only what you make it.

go discover something, accomplish something or just realize something. Even thinking life is pointless will lead you to some kind of understanding. Just never quit asking.

Actually when we consider that we are all going to die no matter what....the values set by humans seems not worthed especially those in relation to materials. However we are alive and there must be some reasons why we are given life.....it is usually not what is the point and what is it in the end that is important but the journey we go through life is what i think is all the fuss about life. Each journey like you for example feeling the way you feel right now is unique and could only be felt by you with you continuing your journey it may or may not change....why is this is not important but the process of it changing is important....appreciation or coming to an understanding of something is important no matter how trivial it is.

It's like knowing what pain is. What pain is is not important but the process of knowing it and understanding is what life is all about. The same goes for love, respect, compassionate, etc....by going through all this make life worth living for because the understanding cannot be told but must be felt through and through to have it make sense and worthed in the end.

Answer: to serve others and your Self utilizing the gifts, strengths, and talents you were born with.

What can you do?

Everyday, starting tonight, right before you go to bed go to a mirror and look deep into your eyes(not at your eyes) and tell your Self "I love you unconditionally, and I honor who you are and what you are".
Also do the same process as soon as you wake up.

Your Life will have shifted within 30 days.

It works!

The point of life is exactly the opposite of what you are doing.

The human being has so much potential. All the potential is still meaningless, but its still there. The only thing worth doing is to find something to do while your alive. You like video games? Play video games. You like sex? Get laid. You like wealth? make money.

The point of it all is to find something to do.

The point of life is to reproduce or leave a marked legacy of reproductive health/life span for your species.

If you believe in Heaven, life is an infinitesimal part of eternity and does not matter at all (so love Jesus or have no life at all!!!).

Our purpose in life is to worship God and spread his word.

Point of life eh?
You kinda answered your own question
Point of life is sorta basically finding out things for yourself
make relationships, memories, dreams, goals, and see where does that take you?
If life was really pointless you wouldn't ask that question
because you don't know what it is and you wanna find out and find that "thing" that gives you purpose and meaning

No, it ain't wrong, it's normal. Find a group of people who want to make a difference with their lives and do something. Maybe be a volunteer fightfighter or join some volunteer organization that does something you think is worthwhile.

To learn and to have fun. I understand how you feel, but we all have our different crosses to bear. It's just that you should have good days along with the bad days. If you're having nothing but bad days, a doctor might be able to help with that. There are all sorts of medications that can help with depression.

Life is only what you make it. If you allow yourself to continue your current pattern your point of view will never change. You have to be disciplined and force yourself to get up and get moving. Find something you enjoy and do it more. Pretty soon you'll be branching out.

Well we really can't ask, how did we get here. That is a question, that might be too advanced to be answered. So the best I can answer your question, is just take your responsibilities as a person.
