sometimes when a guy does something playful like smashing a peice of wedding cake in to ur brides face actually hurts their noses cuz u may not know ur own strength lol of course the bride wont tell u it hurt or make a seen but she will keep laughing, and she'll prolly be thinkin i cant beleivr i paid a hundred bucks for the salon to do my make up just to have it smeared all over with frosting. and she will prolly head to the bathroom to see if frosting is up her nose lol. how about the cute dab of frosting on her nose with a lil smooch on the lips/cheek! WAY BETTER SHOWS SWEET AND PLAYFULLNESS!

It's supposed to only be feeding each other one piece of the cake. To take it as far as "face smashing" I would say IS a pretty tacky display, cuz who wants to be all messed up with damn cake and frosting when their all in their fancy wedding duds???
Not to mention (I'm mentioning it--why do we SAY that?) the fact that it's still kinda embarrassing cuz ya look pretty silly, even if it IS "in fun". Ya know?

Depends how the person/couple does it.
Cause it can either be cute/sweet playfulness 1 min or become tacky the next min.

Just as long he doesn't mess-up u're hair/make-up, stick anything up u're nose/in u're ears, should be fine.
& guys - we know u don't know u're own strength, but some brides are not gonna tell u either-till way later when it get's worse/she can't stand the pain, so not to cause a scene at the reception. So please be careful-thanks.

It depend upon whether both parties are having fun with it or if only one is.It is YOUR wedding cake ,if you both choose to do this it is your business and your special day.Spend it however you like.Everyone is different when it comes to this and when you think about it, it is what...1 minute of your life compared to a lifetime with your new spouse, which is the most important ? I say it isn't worth fretting over.

Tacky Tacky Tacky, I'vre always thought that if he did not mind
smashing and smearing cake all over her face in front of people. What might he do behind closed doors.

Good for the groom but not for the bride. Funny but has an adverse effect on make-up.
