No the spirit is gone now. I went over there a week ago and asked it to leave after I talked to it.

please tell her to stop playing with it. she obviously has no idea how powerful it or her imagination can be. spirits are not something to be played or dabbled with. the ouija board is not a toy and the fact that it continues to be marketed as such sickens me.
i'm not coming at this from a christian fundamentalist point of view, so i'm not telling you that it's evil or the work of the devil. i'm telling you this from the point of view of a concerned pagan. communication wth spirits should not be done without the proper protections set up. a circle of protection is the very least you would want to have.
please tell her to stop playing with the ouija unless she's willing to take the time to learn about what she's really doing.

I've heard bad things about Ouija Boards. Most of the pagan community stays away from them. as For getting rid of the spirit, I suggest .

1. telling it thank you for the help, and asking it politely to leave,
2. Burning some sage, and spreading the smoke around the house, and leaving a small bowl of salt, preferably natural salt in each room, when you've wafted the sage smoke around each room, take dispose of the salt in the nearest natural body of moving water. Follow this with a wash-down of hot water, soap, lemon (essential oil or juice, if possible), and salt (at least a misting) for everything in the house, and a similar bath for your sister.

If those don't work, call the nearest Priest, whether Christian, Pagan or whatever, because you've got a problem, and the sooner they know, the better.
And it might be a good idea to send your sister to the shrink to take care of any psychic trauma the spirit may have inflicted.

When me and my friend were 14 years old, we bought a ouija board. The thing with the ouija board is that you each put your hand on one part and use your energy to guide it. My friend Allison, who we played with, moved the piece on her own, and even she freaked herself out. I think a lot of it is a n eclipse of the mind. If you believe hard enough that something is real or there, then you begin to see and feel things related to what you believe - even if they're not really there.

yes, I do believe that you can channel spirits, through the board and other ways. If you feel that some negative force has taken up residency in you room, or that any power you invoked may be hazardous to you I suggest trying to contact a local Wiccan coven for a cleansing, a Catholic church for a exorcism or purification, or cunsult books or the net for rituals you could do yourself.

best of luck to you,
Bryan

I believe that those things are bad news. There are spiritual forces, and they should not be toyed with.

And if there were a real bad spirit in your friend's house, how do you think you're going to help her to get it to leave?

I'm going to be straight with you about this. Wiccans think they have a handle of this spiritual power stuff. However, it's all bad mojo. All their "beneficial" magic and spirituality is just one big, bad con by demonic forces who hate you and want nothing but to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Human con artists can easily pass them off as good, and demons can do it just as skillfully.

If there's really something up, get a priest or pastor, someone who is serious about their belief in Jesus Christ. He is the Lord God Almighty, and the demons fear Him.

I bless you in the name of Jesus.

Rev tomcat got it. dont mess with them. i dont touch them. my mum did one with her friend when i was very young(nextdoor while it was empty). have no idea what they did but they got out of there sharpish and mum wouldnt let dad knock the wall through(to make one big house) because of it, none of us will go in there now unless theres alot of people. no one ever stays there for more than 2 years no matter how much they loved the actual house.things always go wrong for anyone who lives there. ouija boards arent always bad but most the time they are.a gate way to hell (or an exit from it)

I think that the quija board is a bad thing to play with. It's not a game to play with channeling any spirits. If you are not ready for something to happen then you just leave it alone.

I think it's obvious that you believe in the ouija board . . . isn't that what really matters?
