I'm looking for scenes that demonstrate 1) the difficulties women have in advancing to management positions or 2) the difference in pay between men and women (example: someone finds out a man is making more than her for doing the same job).

"How to Succeed in Business without really trying" has a running theme of women and their lower status in the workplace (it is set in the early 60's). They are all Secretaries and the more beautiful one is only their because of her boyfriend and not because of any talent at all. It even has the song, "a Secretary is not a toy", a playful song about sexual harassment.
