From these choices, I put the Peter Jackson's/ J.R Tolkein's masterpiece at number 1.
I just love the settings, the adventures in 'middle earth'.
Anyway, I like all the other three (3) movies mentioned.
Along with LOTR, they are up there with the best trilogies of our generation.

LOTR is undoubtedly the mother of all trilogies! The scope, the consistency in the series, the accessibility of a cult book to an average moviegoer, the ground breaking SFX and a uniformly star-studded cast that turned in excellent performances and glamour to an already colossal project all bear witness to this fact.
The last in the series also created a record of sorts for winning in all the nomination categories for the Oscars.
I could just go on and on about LOTR (and I am not even a fanatic), but it might just turn into a boring yarn.

X-men hands down. But we also have to remember the other great triliogies. The Bourne series (love Matt Damon) and The Ocean's Trilogy (love the whole cast).

I am going with LoTR. It's a classic but just the way Pete Jackson interpreted the book, yes I am referring to it all as one book not three separate ones, flows nicely so that one can watch the entire saga front to back without feeling like they are on a wooden rollercoaster being jerked around, speeding up and slowing down unexpectedly.

i havent seen any of the lords and their jewelry, but out of the other three i would have to say x-men. spiderman was really good too, but x-men is on top. and the last pirates movie was nothing but confusion for me.

Defiantely Spider-Man. Every since one of them has pleased me and they are something that I would definitely buy as a threesome and individually. The others have maybe a good movie but that's about it to me.
