it basically means that the person is being kicked out /forced to move out of their home or place where they live. Normally it means that they havent paid their rent, morgage, or havent kept up with their end of the contract. (sometimes places wont allow pets and the renter can be evicted for that reason also)
Hope this helps you!!

When someone (the tenant) rents a place to live or conduct a business, there is an agreement with the property owner (the landlord). If it is in writing, it is called a lease or rental agreement. The agreement usually has how much the monthly rent will be, and the other agreed rules. Common rules are no pets, no loud parties, only a certain number of people living in the place. If the rules are broken, the landlord gives notice to the person to leave. If they don't leave, the landlord goes to court and the court proceedings are called an eviction. If the person won't leave after the court determines they must, a sheriff or other peace officer goes and puts their stuff out.

Eviction is a lengthy legal process to get someone out of their apartment. Usually, if someone breaks the rules of their lease, or doesn't pay their rent, the landlord will give them a 5 day notice to pay or vacate (or remedy the breach or vacate). The tenant has the option to ante up or get out. However, if he doesn't, the landlord has to take the next steps. Go to court to get the eviction. Place the notice. Have the sheriff come and haul the people out. It's pretty awful for everyone involved. The five day notice is usually sufficient.

An eviction is a court action a landlord must use to remove a tenant from an apartment or room.

Usually it's for non-payment of rent, but could also be for illegal activities or any other reason the landlord deems fit and the law agrees with.

A person who rents out a home or an apartment has the right to "evict" a person who lives there. Evict means to kick out. So the person that was evicted was kicked out of thier home for various reasons, such as not paying thier rent, or what have you.

Landlords have the legal authority to order a tenant to leave the premises for several reasons -- most commonly for violation of the lease terms.

Most state laws require formal "notice to quit", or notice that the person is being evicted.

It means that the tenant being "evicted" has to leave the place they are living for any of a number of reasons, but usually it's because they didn't pay their rent.

It means that someone is not able or willing to pay rent so they are being asked (told) to leave.
