My bed time varies. If I'm on an early shift, I settle down around 8pm - 9pm (I sleep on the settee as I like to fall asleep watching television) with my tea in time for a favourite programme. If I'm on a late shift and on an early the next day - it's around 10pm - 11pm.
If it's a late shift with no early the next morning, it's whenever I feel tired.
If I'm on a nightshift, then I'll collapse onto the settee about 11am - noon.
If it's a sleep day - as yesterday was then I will do anything but sleep. I finally zonked about 3pm. Woke up at 9pm, so I'm still on nightshift time which is unfortunate as I'm dayshift for the foreseeable future. I'm a late shift today so I should really get a few hours in or by the time I finish and get home tonight, I'll have been awake for about 25 hours.
Now, then, normally, that's no problem, I have been wide awake for up to 47 hours in the past but I don't want to risk it when I shall be having the lives of elderly people in my hands in about 18 hours. (when I'm using the hoist to get them into bed)
