I have a 93 Manual Mada 626 GE
The brake oil level keeps dropping and the light starts indicating for brake oil. When i fill it up again it goes down within a months time. (nearly 1cm from the max level idicator)
I wouldn't let it drop below min level.

Sometimes my clutch makes a noise when I release clutch.
It's not slipping for sure but just makes the noise when giving the clutch. Once given it runs smooth.

Can it be a problem with the hydraulics?

You must have a leak somewhere.
The symptoms are brake fluid loss and noisy clutch. Mazda 626 has hydraulic clutch system which uses the same fluid as the brake system.
The noisy clutch could be caused by leaking calipers or brake line...
Good luck

Over a long period of time the brake level will drop some, as the pads wear. From what you have said, I think there is more of a problem with the brake system. Do have it checked for leaks soon. brakes are the most important safety feature on the car.

As for the clutch, you say it only makes the noise when you push on the clutch? Then it may be your throw out bearing.
Good luck with the repairs.

Pt Cruisers seem to turn on the brake light on as soon as the wear on the pads start. Check the linings to be sure they are not too thin. If they are worn have them replaced by a competent mechanic or shop and he should deal with the fluid level. The reason the light is there is to worn driver that there is something going on with the brakes. Never just add fluid with out an inspection of brake system.

The brake system and the clutch are not connected so put that aside.

There is a hydralic pump that transmits the force from your foot to the brake system. The pump has seals. The seals are leaking.

Get it fixed, relatively low price.

To be on the safe side, suggest you take it to a shop and get it checked out. The situation can only get worse. It can't heal itself. Have you ever been with out brakes before?
