Can someone please help me try to figure this out? We used to watch this movie back in the 1998-2000 timeframe, it was a sort of cheesy movie where a family is on vacation and their car breaks down. When the parents sign in the guestbook, they become possessed. I remember the kids finding them behind these spider web things, and they were coughing up green goo, the green stuff was a big part. At the end of the movie they're back home and when the girl cuts the cake that green goo is there and when her parents kiss, their lips are green. We thought it was The Greenies or something, but I guess not. If someone figures it out please tell me!!!!

....ya know, there have been several persons on Yahoo! Answers, who have asked a question, regarding the exact same synopsis you're describing; I must admit, I myself, recall seeing a film, much as you described, but like everyone else, the title escaped me...
...then, a few days ago, at about 2:30 in the morning, I was jostled from a deep sleep, exclaiming "Eureka!!! I Have Found It!!!"
...anyways, to make a long story short (too late!), I'm willing to take a most accurate guess at this, and say that the film you are looking for, is the 1999 Full Moon Production of "Phantom Town"; in the film, a bunch of kids go out, in seach of their parents, who have mysteriously disappeared; they come across this western-styled town. They find their parents, but they also have to deal with the green-slimed zombified citizens of this 'phantom' town.
The film concludes, with a twist ending very much similar, if not the same, as what you described...

....please, oh please tell me that I hit this one right out of the ballpark!!!

that actual sounds like Beetlejuice. They could no longer circulate away their condominium for the reason that they have been ghosts of their very own place of living and thats why it was a desolate tract exterior. She floats in mid air as they're napping and falls down whilst the doorbell rings. they attempt to scare away the kind new domicile householders by skill of skill of looking like she merely cut back off his head.
