First you should come up with a business plan: what products are you going to sell, what's your target market (who do you want to sell things to), what prices are you going to charge, what profit margin do you plan, what type of marketing/advertising will you do, do you have a hiring plan or do you plan to run the store yourself? Do you have a distributor lined up? Where do you plan on having the store? How do you want to decorate the store to attract customers? What are your fixed and variable costs? These are some the questions you should be able to answer before actually buying anything. I understand it can seem a little overwhelming, but that's the challenge of starting a small business. After you have a business plan, you will need to obtain a license either from the city/municipality you plan on having your store in or from the state. This allows you to legally sell things. As for a store location, if you have one in mind that's fine. Try to make sure it's in an area that doesn't have other Adult Novelty stores or the like, and also try to make sure it's not next to a Tiffanys & Co. People who usually shop at Tiffanys usually don't want to visit your type of store or may be offended by the presence of it, but I could be wrong. If you do plan on opening in a high-end area, try to make your store look sophisticated and classy despite the nature of your store. Also, try to make sure it's not in the middle of nowhere and that people can access it easily. Lastly, I'd like to wish you good luck. An Adult Novelty store will be difficult to start as there is already a lot of competition and the internet gives people privacy to buy these types of items. However, it can still be a profitable business, especially in CA, so don't give up!

I'm not exactly sure what you are looking for exactly but you can try www.pureromance.com they have lots of products, no movies though if that's what you meant, but really amazing stuff that really comes in handy LOL if you know what I mean. They also have where you can buy directly from the site or host a party.
