if a person is just annoying, I would ignor it and try to actually learn how to deal with difficult people.
On the other hand, if you have a stalker type, then you can't play games.
on the computer, block them (or at least stay invisible and save all the emails and start creating a file for use in court.
do not show any interest in them and avoid places where they might be. If they are in your circle of friends, you may have to meet with them at times and places where the party you wish to avoid is unable to find you.
I would also seek legal assistance to help you get your case ready, if it is going toward that.
as for the use of deadly force, you better save that for honest to life, self defense. Don't take what you do not own. life is precious.

Oh, wow...There was a guy in HS (20+ yrs ago) He was SO creepy. Every time I went soemwhere, there he was. It was scary. Finally, I just told him to stop. He was shy, creepy weird and wanted to date me. I was a nice person, but this guy was so creepy, I can't even find the right words for the way he acted. He finally got the hint and stopped hanging around the places I was at.
