Hmmmm, I think what distresses me the most is the inabilty to do something. A lot of my friends come to me with theyre problems, and I like to be able to give them advice. However, when I can do nothing but hear theyre pain, and cannot offer anything to console or comfort them, Im pained.
I think this is in part because I have no other main things to cause me distress. My family and I are in relative health, were relatively secure financially, and I have enough close friends to feel comfortable. And so, I gain distress from the distress of others.
:-)
But I think its hard to pinpoint one thing that brings me the most distress.

I believe we make our own problems and create our own destiny by how we act, think, speak. In saying that My answer would be "I do". I give myself the most problems. I also think Harmony exists everywhere, as an entity of itself. Our personal attitudes bring the disharmony to a situation. An attitude of love can bless all situations and all people. Change comes from within.

My children, even though they are grown up, one is 19 and married and the other is 24.
They still want me to give them money all the time.
Everytime they move, I have to help them.
I feel like they think I owe them something all the time and they act like it too.
I think it is time for them to grow up and be adults on their own.
When I got out of high school, I never asked my parents for anything and they never gave me anything.

Actually being around people. I like being alone. I work around people all day long, and my ears get tired of their whining and complaining, their gossiping, their animated accounts of all of the lame reality tv shows......their tiny little brains really get on my nerves!!!
By Friday, I am usually hoping to cast away onto a deserted island!

plain nosy people. as in such individuals whom i do not know or acquaintances coming up to me and say they care about me and then ask personal questions when it should be none of their concerns.
another group of individuals that id totally discard them from my social circle are the types who creates their own problems. i mean like, there many inevitable situations in our life- that i cannot say much but id sympathize and try to help by figuring and solving out their problems.
but there's also times when we can control ourselves and we already know the outcome of our doings. and there's always some selfish individual who still does it and when the expected finally happens, he/she comes back crying and asking for help.
since life is so short to even be spending time with people like this; who distresses me out, i give them 3 chances of redemption. by the fourth, since that's the cut-off time for me, i become irresponsive to whatever that happens next.
