If you are married to a blind person, that really opens up the relationship.
If he cannot see your features, and likes you for who you are,and your personality then that is true love.

What difference does it make - I couldn't see him anyway! Maury Povich had this same scenario on his show. This blind woman was with this man a considerable amount of time. He looked as if he was caring for her and they seemed happy. Then she had this strange feeling that he was doing something that wasn't quite right but she didn't know what. Maury is known for the DNA and lie detector tests. Well she put him through the lie detector. She found that not only was he stealing her blind (no pun intended) but was having an affair. Of course he denied it and she was devastated. He tried to be a man with his chest puffed out but how big of a man can you be stealing from the blind? Off stage he was very apologeticic and was asking for her forgiveness for them to start over again. It looked like she was considering it. While the viewing audience would have said no don't do it, we don't have the same mind she has. She has to consider, if this is all she can get and gets rid of him, will the next one be worse? Could she be alone and risk someone taking advantage of her because she is alone? So to answer your question in retrospect, what could she be looking for believing that she is a good judge of character?

I am not in a relationship with a blind person, but a person being blind most certainly wouldnt stop me from wanting to be with them. I think it would be interesting. I think I would have fun explaining what everything looked like! have you seen the movie "at first sight" it's a very good movie! I highly recomend it! and I think it's based on a true story too!
good luck with your answers! interesting question!

it would not make things more difficult, just different. You have to drive the blind person around if they dont use a bus or taxi, or train. It takes time to set things up to acess the blind individual.

I guess it woukd make them the happiest person in the world, someone who would care enough to be there for him, and seeing heir joy, would make you happy, so, i bet there would be a lot of happiness, but i really don't understand this question, cause, it would just be like marrying another person, it would be a little bit harder work but that's about it.

The good news is you could be seriously ugly, and they'd never know it.
Almost as good, they could be seriously beautiful and they'd never know it.
The bad news is they can't really 'watch' the kids, and the workplace is not filled with high paying jobs for the blind.

Only........
You can see the beautiful trees,
I can only feel them.
You can hear the signing of birds,
I can only dream of them.
You can watch a sunset,
I can only feel it's heat.
You can hear your favorite song,
I can only feel the beat.
You can read your favorite magazine,
I can only feel the blank pages.
You can see the ones you love,
I can only dream!
I know wrong place for my poem, but hey it kinda fits the question.
How do you think it would feel to the blind person?

I would think you would be there entire world as they would depend on you for alot of things, if you like helping people this would be great. Personally I would enjoy really truly knowing I was loved for me. and not because they saw me and thought I was cute or nicely built.
