Becuase it's not.

Real chinese food is not dipped in oil and fried. I am Asian and I never once stepped foot into that place because it feels like too much of an insult.

And why do people of other races like eating it so much? I can't even pronounce half the words they americanized.

It's like saying Taco Bell is real Mexican food and McDonald's Asian Salads did originate from China.

Your take?

I completely agree. I just ate dinner at an authentic, family-owned Mexican taqueria the other day, and I'm amazed at how often Americans settle for the watered down version of authentic cuisine.

I don't think that it's authentic Chinese food. It's Americanized because of the dipping in oil and frying part. I eat it because it tastes good. Anyone who thinks that Taco Bell is authentic Mexican food has obviously never had real Mexican food at un-Americanized restaurants. I won't eat at Azteca restaurants because the food is too Americanized. And I'm not even Mexican! It's just better to have the real thing instead of an imitation.

It's not authentic, but it is the real food, it's just prepared a different way. But just because it's not the same way as whatever country it came from, doesn't mean it isn't. Every country has it prepared in a different way.

Don't worry, I'm an American and I've never felt so insulted to walk into Carl's Jr and see a char-boiled burger. Can you believe it? It's so un-American!

For us Americans we like it because some of us haven't been to china and tasted real Chinese food nor real Mexican food. so we think that is how it is supposed to taste like.I'm from Mexico and the food is way way different.

I don't think anyone with a fully-functioning brain really thinks that your examples are "authentic" food. It's all known as fast food.

This panda has never tried it.
