Nothing is implied, at this point in time he likes you as a friend. It doesn't say it will/will not be more. You seem to want more from someone who isn't ready, so wait. Giving a phone number is just giving a phone number, maybe they prefer texting. Some people can make a friend in an hour and some take a week, good enough. Appreciate his honesty. It can take years for people to realize they like their "friend" more than a friend. You might want to evaluate what you want and why.

The little one is at camp so I sent a text hug. The big one asked for a hug tonight because he has no intention of getting out of bed at 5 am when I have to leave.

No, I haven't hugged my kids today, but then I didn't see them either. (They're 34 & 37) However, I did hug my granddaughter, that little cutie pie. She's 9.
And, yes, I loved that campaign about hugging your kids. My kids grew up in the 70s and 80s, and I would hug them a lot, but always when that commercial came on. Thanks for the memory!

I haven't hugged them, but I've told them I love them. And yes, I remember the bumper stickers. Not sure if they should make them again but I am sure kids can always use more hugs.

Yes I did. She's 18 and leaving for her first year of college soon - and I want to get in all the hugs I can get.

Yes, I remember those & I hugged my daughter about an hour ago. She is a adult & was nervous about something & needed a hug from her mommy.
