I have been doing squats a lot recently, I am 38 weeks and dilated to a three and just today I feel almost like there is something sagging into my vagina (sorry tmi) I have been crampy for the last 24 hours bad back pain and I lost my mucus plug. Can I expect labor soon or could it still be weeks away?? If you are a nurse, doctor, or midwife please say so.

I would say you are fairly close to going into labor. The back pain could be back labor or it just could be weird pains. About the mucus plug coming out, if your water hasn't broken yet then you can't really gauge on when labor will truly start for you. I lost my mucus plug and was still 2 weeks away, they actually had to induce me to bring on labor.
Good Luck and Congrats

I've had three children and I'm expecting number 4 and it sounds like you are getting close to labor. Everything that is happening to you could be called "pre labor."

After you lose the mucus plug chances are good you will be in labor within 48 hours. You might also have some back labor since you are already feeling back pain. In fact, for many women labor starts with a back ache.

Once your mucus plug is out it is coming SOON. Go take a nice hot bath to push things along. Make sure and time those cramps or just hold out until you cant any more and head to the hospital. CONGRATS MAMA

When you pass the mucus plug, it means you are very close. Cramping is not labor, however. Wait to go to the hospital until your contractions are regular (you can actually time them/predict them). If you can walk around and relieve the pains they are not "true" labor. You're getting close though, good luck!!!
