If Earth is dying out (as in: world heat, less fresh water, pollution, etc.) and people know what to do (like plant trees, use trash cans, etc.), why don't they? My school planted 236 trees to help with world heat, but nobody else does something to help.

Not everyone is ignoring the call to be good stewards of this planet. My recent contributions were:

∙ traded in a 15 mpg truck for a 30 mpg compact car
∙ moved from 50 miles away from my job to 9 miles away
∙ bought a programmable thermostat for my heat and A/C
∙ keep my house no warmer than 70ºF/21ºC in winter
∙ keep my house no cooler than 78ºF/25ºC in the summer
∙ installed energy efficient lighting in several rooms
∙ recycle and reuse whenever possible

You can't "convert" anybody; so continue to show them what's right by example. Good luck!

sure lots of people are doing things to help the environment!!! of course there needs to be more people involved in this and there is soooooooo many ways to help out. you dont have to just plant trees, you can simply change your lights to energy efficiant ones or go extream and build an earth home.

The earth has had climate changes before.
It will again.
We can't stop them.
We can only try to adapt to them.
