This may depend on WHERE you are. Along Oregon's coast, this is between 11 AM and 1 PM and depends greatly on sea-breases, and Marrine Layr movement just along the coast, and other forces.

This year it has been quite unusual with some temperatures approaching the mid 90's in places that do not usually experience temperatures like that. Forist fires and other issues resulting from this have created unusual issues of their own with smoke and ashfall.

USUALLY - depending on the season, the warmest time of the day is between 5 PM and 7 PM in the Summer, between 2 PM and 4 PM in spring and fall, and between Noon and 2 PM in the winter.

Since I live just North of that state by one river, called the Columbia, the hottest time of day is between 5-6 pm, since when I read my temperatures, it tells me what time the max is and it is usually between those times.
