I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about.. why are teenagers so apt to cause trouble and treat others with disrespect? I've noticed this for a while (as this is a pretty well known fact..) but I just returned from a walk, and while I was walking on the side of the road this truck with about 3 teenagers drove by be, blaring rap music (these kids have been around here before, I seriously thought it was a huge burst of thunder once when they drove by) and one of the kids yelled "HEY F@G WANNA HAVE ASEX!!!!!!!"... I've been the victim of this kind of behavior many times.. why must a lot of teenagers pick on people and be @$$holes every chance they can get?

It ALL depends on whether you like the kids and the kids like you. At this age they are full partners in the marriage, in the sense that if they don't like you they will RUIN the marriage passive-aggressively. You must, sadly, also seriously examine whether the woman is interested in you only for help raising the kids. It's not impossible -- I have a close friend of your age who went from bachelorhood to the ready-made stepfather of three teen boys. Wish I had him here to advise you in the first person. I bet he's had all kinds of adjustments to make, but he's a wise and gentle guy, the sons like him OK (though as a buddy-friend who lives there rather than as a dad), and they've been married two years now and he's still apparently sane. So good luck, but answer these questions for yourself before you commit.

It's the only way that they can get their friends' approval, and they don't see a way out. Besides, they don't understand the effects of their actions, at least not fully. If they do, they block it out. They harden themselves because they think that the only admirable people are the hardened ones. Taking things seriously is "for losers." Some of them go through hardships later in life that force them to leave this attitude behind. Others never really change. Of course, not all teenagers are cruel. The cruel ones are just the ones you see and hear about.

Well, I think it depends on where the teens where raised and how they were raised. If a teen was raised not to say rude, impolite, or derogatory words then they may say them because of the fact that they weren't allowed to or because they think it is cool. While others know that it is not right and just don't say them. Also, peer pressure is part of it, if their friends say it then they might start saying it. If the teens were raised by parents or guardians who didn't care a lot about them or what they say then they aren't going to care if they call someone a name or act violently because they believe no one cares about their actions. Or, it could be because of what they see on TV. A lot of people and not just teens, will see things on TV or hear of these things some other way and will say them or do as they saw. It all depends on the teens' morale, where they live and how they were raised.

Yeah teenagers can be mean but not all of us are mean. Some are just like that because they want to look cool. Personally i don't think yelling at people and putting them down is really cool or fun; I think it's better to make friends with people then say things that could get you beat up by the wrong group of people.

Nowadays they think it's cool to be so disrespectful. Me & my friends were walking in a park and a group of teenagers came up and said "Hey want this totally rad pencil?" We said, "No thanks." And continued walking away. Then they shouted, "FINE YOU F***ING B*TCHES, BE THAT WAY!!! DIE!!!" They sounded like complete idiots. I have no problem with teenagers having fun, but they need to leave other people alone. I witness them acting this way towards many people thinking it's okay or something.

I think this generation of teenagers have had bad role models, not to mention the world today just flat out sucks. There's alot of anger built up and due to lack of proper guidance, they've been left to figure it out on their own, and since they're not getting the attention they need and or want, they're doing anything they can to get your attention.

ask MCR...

"They said all teenagers scare the living $h!t out of me
They could care less as long as someone'll bleed
So darken your clothes or strike a violent pose
Maybe they'll leave you alone, but not me"

lol...well, to answer you question...um...idk. I think that teenagehood for a lot of teenagers is a time to party and to do stupid things, who wouldn't, they have no responsibilities, they don't have to work, everything is taken care of by their parents. and i guess, maybe some of them were raised that way......?

You're expecting mature actions from the immature. Those who pick on other people only show their insecurities but it still hurts to be the butt of all of it.
