Barry knows what he did; we can only speculate. It looks like he cheated, If so, he doesn't deserve the record. However, since they haven't barred him from playing, his name will go into the record book.
The truth about BB's abuse will someday come to light. When that happens an asterisk will be placed next to his HR total and folks will be able to view his "achievement" in its proper light.

Yes. Even if you believe he is juicing (never tested dirty, by the way), steroids don't give you magical powers. He has been a great hitter for many years, and that involves a lot more than just raw power. Eye-hand coordination and bat speed are much more important to consistent hitting, and guy guy has been consistent, you've gotta give him that.
It's too bad that Hammerin' Hank has to lose a record, but they are made to be broken, and A-Rod is on a pace to eclipse Bonds before he is done, anyway.

No, he is a disgrace to Hank Aaron, the record, and baseball. At least the record was set without using performance enhancing drugs to cheat your way to the top.

Alex Rodriguez will break the record in a few years anyway so this will be a moot point in due time.

yes...cheating is a part of baseball anyway, if gaylord perry didn't doctor baseballs, he wouldn't have won 314 games, if nobody was binging on coke in the '80s, sb's wouldn't have been as prevalent...think about it like this; if ichiro hit .400 next year and was popped with a corked bat in the last game of the season would that diminish his accomplishment...i don't think so...btw underrated fact...bonds already admitted he took steroids in his leaked grand jury testimony...so even in the abscence of positive tests, he is already guilty of using

Home runs, or any baseball on-field event, do not come with a moral dimension. "Deserve" doesn't factor in.
