I don't go to church on Sundays, I don't call myself a Christian (or anything, not even atheist). I just know there is God in every person alive, and in the universe. It's all too perfect and beautiful to be a mistake.

Here's the problem though. You are basing all that you believe off of feelings. You "just know" that there is a God. How can that be a base for any kind of morality or ethics.

I also believe in God and I say a prayer or two every now and then... I feel just as you do that I don't need to go to church to believe and know that there is a God up in heaven and if there were no God, I would seriously put deep thought into trying to figure out where the heck we all came from...

Very Good - We can go even deeper if we want to go further in our spiritual development. You have the first step right. And their is so much hypocrisy and cheating done by so many religions that it can be scary to even go to a religious organization. Still we can go deeper into self realization and understanding our Maker also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. I hope you take the opportunity to read the most amazing science of God The Bhagavad Gita As it is By Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada who is a great spiritual master and Guide. You don't have to be a religion it is Universal knowledge and wisdom of The Absolute Truth we call God. I also was like you and when I found this sublime wisdom my heart blossomed and I became so happy to actually know so much more about Him and myself and everyone and everything. You can too. for info go to asitis.com you can read it on line. there is so much to know and it is sooo wonderful.

That's great! As long as we appreciate God and know God lives in all of us, we do not have to go to church to prove we appreciate God.I thank God everyday and appreciate the beauty he put on this earth and in the endless universe.

I agree with you. It is beautiful. Sometimes it hurts to really look through people. I mean really look at them, through their skin. It makes me want to cry sometimes, b/c there's all this judgement that really can cloud our vision. It's funny because I'm listening to this mixed cd and "wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong just popped up. I have to say I walked to this catholic church on my block the other day (during the week it's open and empty) because I missed the smell of melting candle wax. I just sat there, and said my own prayer. It was nice. Take care.

So you believe in God... Do you think he shaped the universe to a certain point and then stopped, to let it evolve the rest of the way on its own? Or do you think he continues to exert influence to this day? To what degree does he extend his influence? Therein lies the differences between the religions.

God is real. Religion is fake. Religions used God as a way to gain power and in some cases money.

No matter what your belief, God or no God , totality in existence, the universe, is not a mistake.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

Why would you believe in any kind of God when they don't talk back to you, comment you, praise you, help you in the most time of need or laugh/be sad with you???? Just live life and be your own God....It's all in your head.....

You can believe in God and pray and not attend church. As long as you believe in him he is there. Have you ever read "Footprints"?
