Yeah sounds O.K!

you wont distort him or anything at that rate, which is the biggest risk.

Overfeeding a turtle can cause its shell to distort. They like to eat anything they see sometimes, especially in captivity.

Keep a watch for fat legs and tails and make sure it comes to its food. Some people think turtles are slow, but they should be fast when they're hungry

I completely trust the final answer. in case you harm the turtle you will create huge difficulty for your self in feeding ideas. whilst the turtle gets hungry it is going to eat in spite of they are able to get, they're fairly opportunistic. The turtle pellets are a large source of nutrition enriched nutrition which will help your turtle improve appropriate. I fairly have rescued quite a few turtle that have suffered deformities do to incorrect food. i'm uncertain in case you have one, however the turtle additionally desires a UV source of a few sort to help in the right bone develop. on an analogous time as that's small it is going to wish a persevering with day time UV source mutually with a UV easy. as quickly because it has grown you are able to place self assurance in visits to the outdoor. you are able to try feeder fish as a month-to-month manage whilst the turtle is great adequate to eat them, and additionally you will additionally try pre-frozen feeder mice. so a techniques as sexing the turtle, sliders are fairly ordinary. women improve long front claws, boys improve large long front claws like Freddie Kruger. you additionally can tell by using the situation of the cloaca and length of the tail. Boys have longer tails and the cloaca is placed farther remote from the shell than the females. ultimate of success, Blair

It needs much more than pellets. A well balanced diet is important for turtle health, as are heat/UVB, water temperature and cleaness, etc. Check out this website for full care and diet info:

Ya, that sound like its fine. If it's eating it all and not leaving anything floating then its good. you should also try varying the food, try some feeder fish too, its fun to watch them eat them.
