I want to use the Logitech G7 for my laptop.

No, its just that mice usually marketed as laptop mice are smaller, but there is no problem using a regular sized mouse like that for your laptop.

Almost all mouse can be use on both laptop and dekstop. I am sure that Logitech G7 can be use with your laptop without any problem. The only problem will be mobility of the mouse, because the mouse size is big, it is heavy to bring arround with you.

Nope. No difference. And may i say if your looking around for a good mouse, get a wireless one. Spend the extra $ for it. ITs worth it BIG TIME.

a mouse is a mouse. You can use it with any computer that has the correct connectors, like USB for an example.
