(5){√(x - 3)} / {√(x - 3)} {(√(x - 3)} : multiply both top and bottom by √(x - 3)
The denominator will rationalize, and the root end up in the numerator instead :
5{√(x - 3)} / x - 3

You want to get the sqrt out of the denominator, so multiply by sqrt x-3 / srt x-3, giving 5 sqrt x-3 / x-3
