Yes i used to live in Cut Bank (about 1/2 hour away) its a smaller town but for the most part friendly there is alot of farming and railroaders around the area. not a lot of shopping they have a Albertsons grociery store and a Pamadia kinda like a Kmart. most people go to great falls which is about 2 hours away to do most of there shopping.
as far as the weather you have cold cold winters and hot summers. in the summer it becomes a big tourist town since its close to the canadian border and glacier national park. if you have anyother Qs email me and i will try to help you

Well, I stopped there. It is small. Quite small. It used to be a good-sized railroad junction, as trains headed north to Canada and west through the Rockies. There is still a good-sized yard there, but it's not as active as it used to be. Not a whole lot around it, either. Lots of farm land is in the neighborhood -- Big Sky country, you know -- but it's a hike to the nearest good-sized city of Great Falls.

Nice to be close to Glacier National Park, though.
