Now days you don't stay long, because insurance wants u 2 recover at home long stay maybe 3days. My sister had a hysterectomy last year she was a bit sore for a while, but not bed ridden. It depends on the person each person is different when it comes 2 pain/and recovering from surgery. Good luck.

usually it is a one night stay. Also it depends on if you are having laproscopic surgery or open surgery. You will be in less pain after a laproscopic procedure.
