6x+1= (2x-1)(m+3)
6x+1 = 2xm -m +6x - 3
combine like terms
4 = 2xm - m
Isolate all terms with x on the same side
4 + m = 2xm
Divide both sides by 2m
(4+m)/2m = x

Answer D

6x + 1 = (2x-1)(m+3)
6x + 1 = 2mx + 6x - m - 3
6x - 6x - 2mx = - m - 3
-2mx = - m -3

Then we divide both sides by -2m

x = (-m-3)/(-2m)
x = -(m+3)/-(2m)
x= (m+3)/(2m)

I think all 4 answers are wrong.
