I have to go to the doctor for a checkup. I'm 12 and i have a fear because i dont like it wen people loook at my privates. I love this doctor she's young pretty and kind but i just am so scared!!! please help!

When you're 12, doctors don't generally look at your privates at a checkup, unless you tell them you are having a problem. Gynecologists do that stuff, and you don't go to them until you are older. At a checkup, you usually put on a hospital gown and they tell you to leave your bra and panties on.
If you are sexually active, and I pray to God that you are not, then you should be seeing a gynecologist. So if you are having sex, you have to get over your fear of a doctor looking at your vagina.
If you're not having sex, then you probably have nothing to worry about!

Dont be affraid and someone has to do it.. you dont want to end up having something just because you wouldn't want them to look at your privates. all girls will have to go through it some day. And I'm not lying! She wont say anything rude. You will have to show your privates to your lover sometime to. and thank god you dont have a guy doing this! more girls rather have a women then a man because they understand what your going through. so dont be affraid.

Just remember that she looks at tons of other people all day. When you leave her office she will forget your privates right away. remember she is a professional and for her its no different than looking at your ears or eyes. dont worry about sweetie. its not a big deal.

Well, if shes a woman then it should definately help. But remember drs see alot of ppls privates, and they dont really notice them after a while.

just chill tell yourself that you could do it. i'm 12 too and i went for a physical and they will check your private pars. just remember that the doctor has gone through everything that your going through now:D so just r-e-l-a-x. haha if it helps think of happy things^-^v but relaxing is the key word here. just remember that all women have gone through puberty and they have experianced it. so good luck! and relax!

the bottom line is its your health and that is what matters. Its for your own good, just give it a little time and you will adjust. At least its a female doc working with you or else i would be sorry for you.

She won't look at your privates if it's a checkup. and remember this is for your health. Your family has to pay for this checkup, so you can get mad at her for it, so you can use that for not being scared.

if it's just for a checkup they shouldn't check down there...but even if they do it's for your health...don't worry about it...they won't hurt you...you'll be fine...just relax...no worries...
