I run a company that generates quite a bit of correspondence (not junk mail). The letters are printed to a central printer. I then have a clerk enter the addresses into a spreadsheet to mail merge to labels. The clerk then folds the letters, stuffs the envelope, then puts the label on the envelope. Is there a better way?

Where do the original addresses come from? If it's an electronic format in any form, they could be cut and pasted into an address label program. Or print the labels directly to the envelopes. Microsoft Word could perform this task. This would eliminate the clerk having to do all the data entry, and eliminate possibility for errors. You could also purchase a folder, then all the clerk has to do is stuff them in the envelope. Good luck!

Window envelopes. Eliminate the labels completely.
