Sometimes I listen to sad songs from the good old 1980s and sometimes I come to Yahoo Answers... Other times I sleep, and I mean sleep for LONG periods of time.

Im sure not everyone here will agree with what I will tell you but this has helped me alot, and it has helped man for alot longer. Any time I feel down, no matter what the reason, I smoke 2 small bowls of some good herb, then I meditate, then I do something stimulating. The stimulation could be something as simple as listening to music, or watching a good movie. I myself usually smoke then read or write after taking 15-20 minutes of just silence, clearing my mind thinking of nothing letting go. Good look I know how you feel, I get like that often right now.

Listen to music, cry, talk to friends online and my fiance. I eat too much, stay in my bedroom all day and night, might sleep during the day if I can't find anyone who will listen. Sometimes I write how I feel and that helps or call my sisters. Have a goodnight!

Go for a walk w/my 2 dogs..they're funny and make me laugh all the time. Listen to music, browse on the internet, photography, workout, go look a friend up I haven't seen for awhile....just anything that'll distract me for awhile to keep my mind off of being down.

bottle of wine and some music. Dave Matthews Band helps me wallow in tears and then dance like crazy in my living room. Love It !
not healthy but makes me feel better
(don't forget the 2 excedrin for the morning)

You try to lighten your self up by saying things like it's going to be okay or don't worry and also go to someone you trust and know will listen and that just might help. Sorry if my answer is not what you are looking for. And you could also pray.

MUSIC! I listen to music even if I'm not down. If I am down, I listen to it louder and actually hear the words really hard. Lol
