At first, it may seem as if your heart will never heal, at times. Or that it will take a long time.

Beginning now, you will start to forget a little at a time. If you don't believe me, try to remember all the good times. Not any of the bad. Can you remember everything?

Get an engaging hobby. Try something new. Or return to something you have liked in the past, something maybe that you had set aside in order to make time for some of the recent activities which have proven fruitless or useless.

If you like to read, then read. If you like to think, write what you are thinking.

If you want a better life, do something about your desires and your dreams.

That depends on what happened and how bad it affects you as a person. Hearts never really break we only feel as if they are but yet it remains in our chest beating away 24/7 non stop until we die. I say the more we get out and live life the better off we will be. It gets us involved with real people and gets us talking to others who may have had the same experience. We need to start living life and feeling free to do so, not afraid of living for what we believe in.

I honestly don't think that a broken heart can ever heal. Sometimes you can move forward a little with a bandage but as far as ever getting over the one great love of your life it will never happen.

True love takes a long time to heal & even though in time you will move on, it will continue to occupy a place in your heart. Until one day you find someone who has so much more for you, that in reflecting back, you see the way that God has worked in your life, and you are blessed.!!!
That is how it was with me,way back when I was young.~Jill

You can't fix a broken heart. Once the wound heals there will always be a scar.

Sometimes they never heal completely. Other times, all it takes is for someone new to come along, and kiss it and make it all better. I think that's what I need.
