Put all the pieces in a used towel, add some water, wrap around the soap with the towel by twisting it tightly into a ball. Open up the towel, and you get all the pieces fused together into a large ball.
You can also melt them over a stove in a steel container.

put all the pieces in a plastic bowl or bag and add 'some' water (not a lot, just enough to make it all wet) and let it set a few days...if you need to add more water, then do it (make sure the bowl has a lid). After the soap is all melted, then pour off any water and let the soap set till hard again.

They actually make a device that will do it. It works like a vice clamp, and presses the soap pieces into the shape of a bar. (I think it was like $13)

microwave, or save old pantyhose and place small pieces in,
when you have several, tie a knot, clip off above the knot, and
just use the pieces tied up in the hose. Works just as well.
