Test your water for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. Do a water change with a siphon. Turn your filter back on before you do any thing else. A healthy fish should be able to swim away from a filter intake strainer. If it was a really small baby, you should be using a sponge filter.

Well, that happens. Baby mollies don't have the natural instincts to avoid something man-made like a filter intake tube. However, the baby left might have learned its lesson from seeing the other go, because the same sort of thing happened to me. I have raised two fry in my tank and neither of them have been trapped in the filter, and now they're big enough to fight the current.

Turn your filter back on and get some live plants, that way it can hide

Hope that helps
Good luck

Sorry to hear about your little one. Try adding a sponge to the end of your filter to keep this from happening. Also floating plastic plants for them to hid in or keep them in a breeders net until they get older. The other one can survive and be fine without the other. Turn your filter back on.

if they're really really small, you could cover up the filter intake with panty hose or some kind of mesh.
don't forget to plug in your filter ASAP or else your nitrifying bacteria will die!
