I'd say not more than 25 years, maybe less. As soon as kids grow up and become adults the husband leaves wife and home to get a younger woman and finally have their freedom, entertainments, happiness and a brand new life. Well, at least this happened to me, after 23 years of marriage, and to 99% of my female friends. In my country, of course.

My sister is over 25 years, my other sis is at 22, and my brother is at 24. I'm the only divorced one, but I'm up to 16 on this second marriage. My parents just hit 50!

My husband and I have been together for 6 years this past weekend. We plan to be together for many more years. I know a lot of maariages that don't work out that way, but I would hope the average marriage would be a lifetime.
