Considering the weakness of the East, they will definitely make a Finals appearance in the next 5 years. If they don't do it in 3 years, I don't think it is going to happen.

Cleveland couldn't do it this year since Lebron didn't have any support. If the Big Three stay healthy they can beat anybody.

The answer is surprisingly... no. Why?

5 years look like a long time but let's not forget they aren't spring chickens no more; this season may be good, as they gel together and get used to each other's playing style. In the next few seasons, age will definately catch up with them, limiting their minutes if injuries don't catch them first.

Also, it'll be difficult for them to beat current teams in the east such as the pistons, the bulls or even the wizards, much less the suns, mavs, spurs, jazz in the west in seven games

I think they will win one in the next three years. After that you have to figure the big three will stop improving as a team and start to show some age. 4 years from now all 4 will be in their mid 30's.

If all goes well and they actually put a team together then it will happen but time will tell so Celtic fanboys stop talking crazy like the Celtics are unstoppable ok? Let the season start first at least....

Yeah they should with who they have, but they gave up 5 players PLUS 2 first round pics.
But with Garnett, Allen and Pierce, they should do alright.

Get rid of their coach (Doc Rivers) first before you dream of championship(s). He's not the man for the job.
Danny Ainge, are you listening?
