Just watched the movie Poseidon ( 2006 version) with Kurt Russell. I have always had a fear of drowning, when I saw how he played the drowning scene in the movie, it reiterates my fears. Also, getting my throat slashed or stabbed repeatedly is not my idea of how I want to go. How about you, what would be your worst death fear?

My worst death fear is probably to die in a fire, or drowning. I saw this episode of Criminal Minds where this family was trying to get out of their burning house, choking on the smoke, but the arsonist nailed the door shut so they just layed there and burned to death.

A lingering death where people had to do everything for me. When I die i just want my heart to stop as I'm walking down the street. Either that or shot by a jealous husband at the age of 95.

Stuck in a fire..would be completely torturous...drowning and being stabbed slowly..or shot without dieing immediately..anything that involves suffering totally scares me!!!!...If i had to choose..i would like it to be in a way where i go quickly or in my sleep..I DONT WANNA SUFFER :(

Fire. I've always feared being caught in a fire. I know they say you pass out from smoke inhalation, but I dont believe it. I've seen too many pix of crispie critters to believe that.

I'd like it to be quick and painless, but I always thought I would die a slow and painful death.
