My hubby takes off his socks anywhere in the house and there they lay. He would run out of clean socks before he picked them up. Is it a heriditary trait?

I think its a male gene! My boyfriend will just strip off and leave clothes on the floor to be picked up! Why do they do this, how to get him to stop? I have not washed them on an occasion before, but then he went to work in dripping wet clothes leaving me in tears with the guilts lol!

No its nothing more then I just don't care. I have 14 nephews that think there Uncle is so cool in there lango. Any ways they rang from 19 - 36 years old; only six of these boys even tho they staid with us most of there lives. Noes were the laundry basket is plus noes were the sock and shoe go in there proper place. Not all over the house. Good luck!!!!

Sometimes I wonder the same thing. Where ever my boyfriend is and he wants his socks off, that's where they'll stay. It's the same with his shoes! OMG, he can almost never find his shoes because he takes them off but can't remember where he did so!

No. Because my husband has OCD about his socks. They have to go together everywhere they go. In the laundry basket they get folded together so they always match. He has this whole weird system for them.

Yes, i think some men might have that gene...it's connected to the toilet seat one.

but some manage to overcome their natural instinct and put their socks away. I haven't met one of those yet, but hey, i've heard stories.

I have you know i put my dirty clothes where they belong, including my socks. M y wife has enough to do without having to pick up after me.

Yeah, his mother gave it to him to torment you. Let him run out, then maybe he'll start taking care of his mess. Not ALL men are slobs around the house.
