best suggestion is that get a membership at a good gym they have trainers who will train and supervise you and keep an eye your progress and will focus on your weakest points. they will suggest you what to eat and what not to eat. there is no point in pumping iron in the gym everyday when you live on bigmacs.

the shortcut would be to focus on your abs and your biceps. as they are first thing that women lay their eyes on.

honestly it really depends on whats your weight, height, and what are your daily activities.. so the instructor will be the best person to guide you.

if you can make some time for gym then that is good. remember that after getting the body.. you need to maintain it aswell.

Getting a personal trainer and telling excactly what you want to do lose weight/build muscle etc. running is probably the easiest way (tredmill)
