I am helping a 16 year old neighbor boy order his school clothes online. We have lived right by him for 2.5 years and he does not have internet. My husband is a little upset about it, but my neighbor only has to use our computer 1 time.

Is this kid over a lot when he's not? Is he coming home all the time to you and this kid alone in the house? Are you buying the clothes for the kid? Are you spending all your free moments with the kid instead of your husband?
If your answer is no to all those questions, he has no right to be jealous. He will definately need to mature and realize you're helping out a neighborhood kid.
If you can answer yes to any of these, then you might have a lil problem...

Does your husband have an ongoing jealousy problem? If this is the only time he has shown jealousy, maybe he sees something that is crossing the line. Could your neighbor use another computer and ask other neighbors for help? Is helping this neighbor worth trouble with your husband? It just all depends if your husband has a problem that he has shown at other times.

It may not be jealousy. Why does this make your husband upset? Maybe the boy isn't that great of a kid, and he worries about your safety, or maybe he worries that this boy does not have a credit card and will not refund you the money for the clothes, maybe he feels like the boy may start to take advantage of your kindness and ask many times for you to do this and/or become a burden.
You need to talk to him before jumping to conclusions and creating an issue over this.

It annoys men to have another breeding age male in their household spending time with their wives. This is one of my rules; no men in the house without my knwledge. The other is NO DRUGS. It's biological and one thing women should not challenge. Thinl about it: you wouldn't want him sitting in front a computer shopping for clothes with a 16 yo girl, would you? It works both ways.
Figure out another way to be helpful without threatening your husband's peace of mind. And follow the Golden Rule here, okay?

What's there to be jealous of? Are you two too friendly?
My guess is your husband is feeling a bit insecure in your relationship. Men as they get older can hit them hard. Spend allot of time with him pointing out all his great traits, and he won't remember the 16 year old.

I'm sorry, but I don't really understand your question. I think you're asking if your husband has the right to be jealous because your neighbor used your computer? If so- I would definitely say no. It sounds to me like he has some major trust issues. I would definitely try to talk to him about what's really bothering him.

Jealousy is usually uncontrolable, if he's jealous he's jealous although its a strange thing to get jealous over. If its just the one time then probably won't matter that much, but if it really bothers him, perhaps the kid can use the net else where its not a big deal really.

Why is your husband upset? That seems dumb. Though, I'd say just send the kid shopping at a store if its that big of a deal.

Talk to your husband and find out what's going on - but really, they have computers in the library, tell the kid to go there.

I think your hubby is jumping the gun, so to speak. I don't see why there is anything wrong with this boy using your computer.
