All of the schedules on this route have a transfer in Fayetteville, NC. There is one that has an additional transfer in Raleigh (sched. 521). Routine stops along the way include a layover in Baltimore and Richmond.

The reason for the transfer is in this route is served by more than one carrier (Greyhound and Southeastern Stages), although you'll be on Greyhound most of your trip.

traveling via Grayhound chances are you will make stops at every little rinky-dinky town that bus travels through... LOL

there is a chance you will have to change busses and even perhaps have a lay-over. so, watch your time, listen for the call of your bus your to catch so you will not be late and miss it. Also, keep a hand on your luggage at all times or it might dissappear or get left on the bus.. they do not transfer the luggage for you to another bus... that is your job... LOL
carry food with you to snack on... bus food is gross and expensive. carry peanut butter crackers, and water. better than nothing. Sit near the front of the bus behind the driver... stay away from the back of the bus... sometimes the bus bathroom can really stick... and I mean reallyyyyystink.

the joys of riding a bus!!!!

well I would avoid greyhound as if you have a connecting
bus and your first bus is late your connecting bus will
not wait for your bus
plus you would find the bus very crowded
there have been incidents of he bus even catching fire
and none of the passenger made it out alive
they have a habit of stretching the truth one bus a day
comes though the station "they tell you oh another bus will
be along shortly -shortly to them MEANS THE NEXT DAY
24 hours later!
passengers have had their baggage stolen Greyhound
say they are not responsible for lost luggage,,
dont take greyhound try for another service
like Amtrak instead
if you value your life, you will avoid greyhound
at all cost

they may; usually somewhere like Washington, DC.
You can check your route itinirary on the Greyhound website; it'll tell you your transfers (if any) based upon your departure times.
