First off I hate apartment living you always have one neighbor that is a complete @$$. Anyway the worst I would have to say was when I lived in my first apartment after having my 3rd child. My 2 oldest children were running around being kids and My baby was being really fussy. (he was a colicky baby)
and my neighbor down stars from me was a rude old lady. She called the cops and told them she wanted me and all my party going friends upstairs arrested cuz we were disturbing her. She also called the Health and welfare on me and told them I beat my children. So at 9 pm (right when I was laying the kids down for bed) I had cops and health and welfare knocking on my door. They had to come in and inspect my house and kid to make sure everything was OK. I was so mad that I moved out the next week. I have not went back to living in an apartment since.

The elephants that lived above - they came and went at all hours and each time was like an earthquake - they didn't have kids - they were heavy dudes with absolutly no manners on neighbourly matters.
The neighours down stairs..they have intercourse almost all the time and its kinda loud, their laughter sounds like they are in the next room - needless to say, I am alone, thinking I'm a dirty old man..trying to get some winks.

I used to live next to the stinkiest, nastiest, creepiest old man. One night my then boyfriend and I were having dinner over a glass of wine with what we considered nice dinner music and he nearly bashed our door down and yelled at us to turn it down. I really ended up hating him, but I was a receptionist in a real estate office at the time and my boss let me show his apartment to a potential buyer. The guy bought it and I got to kick creep-man out... karma!

I moved into one and it smelled of wet moldy carpet, the second day it was infested with cockroaches......needless to say i became an insomniac quick, then told the complex that either this would get fixed or i want all of my money back or i would report them to there management and to the BBB........I got my check back :)

Girlfriend and boyfriend fighting in their apartment every Friday night. I hear them fighting through my paper thin walls. Then there is always the wild makeup sex.

Curfew, I lived around old people. They couldn't even hear you come upstairs half the time. They had cameras and they would ask the tenets to come home early.

i haven't lived in an apartment since i was 5(though that'll be changing in a few years, im sure)....but when i did i remember that i fell down the stairs from the top floor to the bottom......it hurt.....im surprised all i got was a bruise from it......

i had a roomate who turned out crazy. she was stalking a former employer. she ate all my food and drank all my wine. she used my phone to make 700 phone calls in one month. she finally moved out when the cops came and took her away.
true story.
