I am going to a workshop for a week and they asked me to prepare a monolouge that is age appropiate (in my case ages 15-18 and female) and published. They also want two 2-person scenes (and one of them has to be boy/girl). As many would know, finding the perfect monolouge is quite a difficult task and I am not doing to well on hunting for the 2 character scenes either. If any of you would love to share some with me that are great, I would be most appreciative!

There are tons of books full of scenes and monologues at the library. I suggest the ones that come from actual works rather than made up monologues, but whatever floats your boat :-) There are also many online, just do a search for them. "Teen monologues" will net you several pages. Many sites also have scenes, but doing a search for Teen Scene may give you a whole other type of result having more to do with hanging out and the latest accessories :-)

Have fun!

There are literally hundred of books called Monologues for Teens -- Female. Similarly, you can probably find 2-person scenes on the same shelf in the bookstore or library. That said, some characters with good monologues for your age range include Laura Wingfield (Glass Menagerie), Jill (Butterflies are Free), Lucy (... Charlie Brown), Juliet (R & J), and in Hero (Much Ado...). And I thing "The quality of mercy is not strained" from Merchant of Venice is delivered by a young girl masqueradng as a man in order to argue a case in court. There's also a female version of Neil Simon's The Odd Couple.

Look at Neil Simon's Star Spangled Girl. It's a 2 boy, 1 girl show, and there are a lot of boy/girl scenes you can use from it.
