Accident. The US infrastructure is in serious trouble but for some reason it is not a priority to spend money on this. It's not a new thing either, when I was living in Jersey I would often go to New York City, there was a section of the Cross Bronx Expressway interchange that went over the East River that had chicken wire underneath to keep chunks of concrete from falling onto the cars below.

Terrorism has been ruled out at this point. They're looking at structural causes, but it will take quite awhile to figure out what exactly caused the collapse. Any specific reason is just a guess at this point.
FYI - Minnesota does not have a large Jewish population. The bridge was built in 1967, so it's 40 years old, which is not old for a bridge.

I live there, and i have been across that bridge many times, its strong, its only around 45 years old, they were doing contrustion on it.. like paveing it over, but i think it can be a sign of terroism, even thought there was no explosion... plus, minnesota has a high population of jewish people.
P.s. For KitKat: The bridge is only about 45 years! That is pretty young for a bridge, it was strong, i wonder that happened..

Of course there's bound to be a lot of chaos when such tragedies happen, such as this one, but I'm thinking it was poor engineering or structual problems, that caused this bridge to collapse. So far, there are three known fatalities.

It's crazy that they can't get any idea of what's goin on... I doubt it was anything "sinister" I'd say it's just an older bridge that was under too much pressure.

I hope people will NOT make judgements on the cause of this disaster. At this point, the cause is not known and all we can do to help is pray for those whose lives have been touched by this happening and ask God to be with the victims, their loved ones and the rescuer workers who are trying to help them.

I think its probably an accident, but they don't have enough information to tell anything yet. I think it was probably an accident though.
