I'm 26. Why do people have a problem with spoiledness?

It's wrong because being spoiled and high maintenance is NOT cute...
I'm not sexist. I think women are just as independent as men and can take care of themselves. I don't think their job is to look good every second of the day. Women don't have to be spoiled because they can get what they want if they work hard. A hard working woman is a sexy woman, who knows what she wants and gets what she wants through her own motivation. And as for being high maintenance, I find that usually girls who call themselves "high maintenance" are either very vain or very self-conscious. They think they are the most beautiful thing in the world, or they are the ugliest person in the world...either way they think they must spend hours on makeup and wardrobe. A confident woman doesn't need to be high maintenance to look good - she can pull on jeans and a t-shirt and still be beautiful.
Man OR woman, if you're 26 you're an adult and you should be able to take care of yourself.

There is nothing wrong with that, as long as you find a man who is going to be willing to feed the monster that you have become.
High maintenance women/spoiled women are snobs. They think that everyone owes them something and that they are better than everyone else. In all honesty, they look like real idiots to society and people snicker behind their backs.
It's cute to see a spoiled baby or even chihuahua, but not an adult. There comes a point in your life when you need to grow up and make your own way in the world without people handing it to you. Nobody owes you anything and in life, you need to work for what you have....you are no more special than anyone else!

Because it leads to selfishness and unpreparedness for a situation where you may need to change the way you live.
Maybe you are cute, spoiled and high maintenance now, but that will not make a bit of difference if you get hit by a Mack truck or end up with Multiple Sclerosis.

Maybe because Spoiled people are often associated with being selfish and pleasing a high maintenance spoiled person might be quite challenging. Then again maybe you are a very giving, caring, cute, spoiled, high maintenance person... in which case I don't see much wrong.

Because it is immature and childish and people expect adults to behave as adults, not two year olds. I know very few MEN who are attracted to spoiled high maintenance females other than to use them like toys and then disgard them. For committed relationships MEN tend to prefer intelligent independent WOMEN. But if you want to wind up an old used whore then go for it.

You're obviously proud of being 'cute' 'spoiled' and 'high maintenance' Some guys find that challenging and attractive, others are looking for an adult to be their partner, not their little brat child.

why are you asking? Do you really want anyone's opinion? Or do you just want someone to justify your feelings that you are spoiled and self centered and make it ok.

There's nothing wrong with wanting the best for yourself, setting high goals and taking care of your happiness. People may be jealous that you're cute, but just remember to treat others the way you want to be treated. If you go about it right, you'll feel like a princess.

because most people don't want a spoiled high maintenance woman they want a partner. I personally don't want to support you pay your bills, rent, get your hair done. you need to pay for that yourself if we get married and you become a stay at home mom well then we can talk but you need to clean and cook and still be a partner not stay home and expect me to come home and do laundry. If you work then we can split the chores because you are finacially contributing to the home too
