So you're saying you don't want to go after bin Laden? That's what he's trying to do, and all signs point to Pakistan as harboring terrorists.
And he's not attacking Pakistani gov't, he's going after al Qaeda and bin Laden.
I was upset by his statements at first, being an Obama supporter, but the more I rationalize this, Oba is right. We should never have stopped pursuing bin Laden. He wouldn't even be in Pakistan if we had done it right the first time!
EDIT/Response: Agreed, it is not the perfectly diplomatic way to do things, I'm a little disappointed. Especially since nuclear weapons are involved. But he did say in his speech that it would be a last resort. In other words, if Pakistan failed to allow us to go after bin Laden, since they claim to be an ally in fighting terrorism, and they refused to even allow us to explore the mountains where he is believed to be hiding, then why not? Again, harboring Public Enemy #1 and refusing access to capture or kill him is like aiding and abetting.
Obama wants to finish it. If we are constantly at a state of war, we can never work on our own country. And as I said in another post, what better way to embolden the enemy than to let them get off, scott free without serious pursuit?

He's trying to man up. This is his attempt to appear more masculine than Hillary. Good Luck pal. Arnold Schwarzenegger has a hard time looking more masculine than Hillary.

because it is in the hands of a military dictator. remember a certain Saddam was one too. oh sorry forgot he has weapons of mass destruction it would be silly to attack one who has something like that. Obama is crazy and may have not realized that. he is threatening a nuclear power with attack. silly boy

Obamas comment is just another mindless liberal ploy to make us believe that he would actually use the military. In reality, he would raise the white flag, lower the stars and bars and hand over our sovereignty to the UN.
Obama always preaches how "vital" the UN is. Now hes saying hed attack a sovereign nation. The UN would never condone this act of war. This just goes to show how utterly transparent this socialist clown is.

He practices a different type of Muslim religion than the people in Pakistan. It is similar to the Protestants and the Catholics in Ireland.
He was raised a "Shia" muslim while in Indonesia. While most people of Pakistan are "Sunni" muslim.

You don't remember Bush saying that we will go after ANY Nation harboring or housing Al Qaeda?
Pakistan is where they are!
He said he would go after Al Qaeda.
Why wouldn't Pakistan want Al Qaeda out of their country?
If they can't do it ....We can!
Obama wasn't talking about invading the entire country just the region where Al Qaeda are in!
We know where they are!
We have those mole hole missiles that can pinpoint specific targets!
EDIT: Chance20
Obama did say he would go after Al Qaeda in Pakistan.
Here's the link of him saying so!

He does not want to attack Pakistan (the nation).
He wants to attack Al Qaeda, who is currently located IN Pakistan (the place).
I thought Al Qeada were the bad guys? I thought we were supposed to be attacking them? Has something changed?
