Implantation bleeding is usually a one time very small amount of blood...it is nothing like a normal period and wouldn't occur for more than one day. If it continues then it is a normal period.

Implantation bleeding typically occurs right around the time you would be expecting your period. The bleeding is very light and often brown (indicating old blood). The bleeding typically does not last more than 3 to 4 days and never becomes heavy. There may or may not be cramping. Some women will begin to have tender breasts at this time.

I heard that implantation bleeding occurs about the same time your period is about to start but it isn't heavy and you don't have any cramps...it's pretty much light spotting like pink or brown. I think it lasts about 2 days but not really sure about that. If you need a sanitary napkin every hour or so then I'd assume its more serious. Hope this helps.

Implantation bleeding occurs when the zygote (the fertilized ovum) buries (implants) itself into the soft spongy lining of the uterus. Word of caution, if it does occur, it will occur just a few days before the date of the next expected menstrual period. If there is slight bleeding in the middle of the month, then that would be breakthrough bleeding associated with ovulation (breakthrough bleeding). It might last just a few days, and might not even come onto her panties, just that she might see it when she is wiping herself after using the toilet. Hope this helps. :)

If it is light colored and in spots that is about what Implantation bleeding is.

In any case it shouldn't last any more than a day or two, at least it didn't with my wife. Each women and each pregnancy are different so it is hard to tell what is NORMAL

If she is expierening heavy bleeding she should go the the ER right away. She might be in the middle of a miscarraige.

Its like a very light period. Although it varies from person to person. My first time it was about as heavy as a period, but it only lasted a few days, another time it was a lot lighter, but lasted 5-7 days. SO it really just depends. She should just see a doctor or take a test, if this turns out to not be a real period.
