I can't upload and download photos from and in to my digital camera using my computer via USB. It was working before but now it doesn't. My computer won't recognize my camera. There is usually a small green arrow in the Taskbar when i plug in my camera but now there isn't. Also, in "My Computer" there is no E: Drive.

Anyone who can give solutions to my problem is appreciated. Also, is there anyway I can open E: Drive or the "New Hardware Found" thingy.

By the way, I'm using a Laptop and a Canon Powershot SD630 Digital Camera.

I tried Troubleshotting my camera and I found out that the Registry files of my camera in my computer is corrupted. How do I fix that?

Hi. You could use the "Find new hardware" feature under "Control Panel" but I would recommend getting a card reader. They are so cheap now (only a few dollars) use USB 2.0, and save battery life on your camera that they just make sense. http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&sourceid=deskbar&q=card+reader

if your laptop comes with two or more usb port, try to used the other ports of your usb. in some cases, when you install the driver of your camera say in usb port 1, only the this port can recognize your device. so, if you use other ports you will receive a message or a dialogue box "Found New Hardware". because they dont recognize the device. so, i suggest plug your usb to the port where you install the driver. if it is doesn't fix your problem, well try to reinstall the driver of your camera.

Yes, there is no Drive E: in your My Computer because the device you are trying to connect to your computer is not recognized by your computer. try to reinstall the driver of that device.
