Whatever sexy first anniversary thing you want to plan will most likely be welcomed by him. If he has made plans, you can always do your thing afterward!

Why don't you suggest to your husband that you celebrate your anniversary twice ... on the 'real one' you do whatever he has planned (you'll warn him in advance in case he forgot that way) and on the second day, you do what you want to do.

My husband and I have been married 10+ years, and are coming up on our 'going together' anniversary (November 11) ... we'll go shopping, since that is what we did that day. On our 'wedding anniversary' we are going on vacation ... again. This last one we went on vacation in the same city we live in (rented a hotel room and did all the tourist stuff we have never done before) and we're going to the same hotel this year ... we MUST 'take a boat ride' ... either a ferry (we got married on a ferry) or a 'lunch tour' on a boat, but other than that, we'll do all the stuff we didn't get to do on our last trip. Yes, we even sent 'postcards' ... my hairdresser has his on the mirror where he works ... he just loves telling people why he has postcards from OUR city ...

Well, most husbands plan something the day of the aniversery.I suggest planning something before or after the actual aniversery.

My husband and I talked about it and planned a little mini vacation weekend away for ours...so that was both of our plans...we said no gifts, so that was easy (we were on a tight budget so it made sense). Then we had the freedom to relax and fool around as we pleased...and he even had a few suprises for me (he brought a portable DVD player & our wedding video and had the same wine served at our wedding shipped down) so it was great...but just spending time together on our special day was awesome.

Make sure you have a new sexy nightie to wear the night of your anniversary, even if you have to pack it or carry it in your purse. Come to bed, open up you housecoat and say, "Look what I got you for our anniversary!" Your husband will love it and it won't ruin any plans he may have.

unless your husband is a real romantic, don't plan on him doing to much. i don't know to many guys like that. go ahead and plan your thing. if he does have something in mind just do yours later in the evening

Talk to him... ask him if he has any plans maybe. Then if he says no go ahead and plan something! Nothing says I love you like taking charge and spoiling the other person!

Plan something simple and sexy! Go to Victoria's secret, buy something new and hot, keep it in your nightstand. If he has something better in mind, go with the flow.

marriage is all about agreement, not compremise as some wrongly say.

what ever he has planned, he will be welcoming your input to the night. if he is romantic ( and no male is) he will be wanting and asking for your advise. men are brain dead when it comes to romance.

Well, if he's planned somthing dumb, that you could never enjoy, tell him. But if it's somthing you'll even slightly enjoy, try to be flexible. But if time remains after, plan somthing to surprise him after. I've always liked surprises. Just this man's opinion, though.
