You can't say that a whole group of people has the same reaction to everything. I was extremely happy that the Yankees won, and A-Rod's 500th home run is bound to happen soon. Who said that Yankees aren't "enjoying the win" and "are mad that Alex Rodriguez didn't hit his 500th home run"? You're acting as if everybody that's part of a specific group is the same. That's not true for almost everything. What makes you think that you know every single Yankee fans reaction to yesterdays game? And no, the World Series isn't the only thing that makes Yankee fans happy. But, I must say, that achievement would make any real baseball fan happier than anything else that happened in that particular season. I appreciate the Yankees very much.

Who says that Yankee fans are never happy? I'm a Yankee fan and I enjoy watching or listening to my team very much, win or lose.
Yankee fans are not mad that A-Rod did not hit his 500th home run last night, but disappointed for him. It is ironic that on a night where the Yankees hit eight home runs as a team, that the leading home run hitter in the majors, a player who is on the brink of hitting his 500th, went homerless.
As for Yankee fans not being happy, I'm sure if they were not, the Yankees wouldn't be averaging over 50,000 fans per game. That doesn't sound like a team with unhappy fans to me, unlike many small market teams, who play to half-empty stadiums and collect revenue paid by the Yankees.
It is disappointing that the Yankees haven't won in seven years, and it would make us happy if they won. The Yankees raised the bar tremendously when they won four world championships, and the postseason losses since have been very ugly, to say the least. However, we are not unhappy fans.
You have to be careful when making generalizations, and putting all Yankee fans under one huge umbrella. Yankee fans route very hard for their team and are always there to support them, win or lose. Those on Yahoo answers are just a very small sample, and do not accurately reflect the views of all Yankee fans.

AJ grew to become into envisioned to offer up 3 runs on 3 consecutive pitches in the 1st inning???? Geez, why did no longer i think of of that interest plan! If Gaudin had began and the sport had ended 8-6, we'd all be cursing at Joe Girardi for dropping an danger the place we scored 6 runs in a interest Lee began. yet, we'd be sitting extraordinarily, having gotten back living house field benefit by using triumphing 2 of three in Philly AND with AJ on complete relax the next day, and CC on Thursday with a very rested Pettitte waiting in the bull pen if needed. Now, we are in that situation with an previous Pettitte on short relax and dealing with the possibility of interest 7 after being up 3-a million. i do in contrast to rolling the cube on 4 consecutive starters on short relax. I in basic terms desire Andy retains his pitches down from the commencing up particularly of taking 3 innings to settle in like in interest 3. Then we can all say Girardi is a genious, lol.

Believe me Yankee fans were happy they won 16-3, but they just want A-Rod to hit 500.
The fans are used to winning world series and if the Yankees dont at least make the WS then they will be mad.
Its the way it rolls in Yankee town.

Yankees fans want:
a. the annual championship;
b. that fans of other teams, particularly the Red Sox, SUFFER merely for the fact that they are not Yankees fans -- and if the suffering comes by way of Yankee fan denigration, so much the better;
c. that others grovel before them;
and
d. to be loved.
And this despite that (b) and (c) pretty much make (d) impossible.
