I don't think so... I don't know if they have the interest at this time in their lives to consider the implications and ramifications of His Majesty's indulgences. It certainly should be obvious that someone will have to pay the fiddler as this fool has danced all night.

I suppose that you don't realize that Congress writes the budget, not the President. And I suppose you have had your head in the sand or some other dark place and didn't know that the President has been threatening to veto a couple of the spending bills that the Democrat Congress is trying to pass because the spending level is way higher than what the President said he would accept? Likewise, I suppose that you never heard the news that the Congressional Budget Office has said that the tax receipts are so much higher now than they anticipated that the debt could be paid off in 1/2 the time (Assuming the Democrats don't bust the budget again!)?
Since you are obviously a Liberal and want Socialized Medicine for this country, how did you expect to pay for that?
Foolish girl, you need to learn a little more before asking such question on Yahoo and showing your stupidity.

Well, well well, then you understand that if the tax cuts are left in place that Bush put in that the debt will be paid off by 2012. MMMM> And do u realize that the Dem's are talking about raising taxes across the board by 7-9 percent, and of course soaking the rich that pay 87 percent of ALL taxes paid.
what you need to worry about is who going to pay for all the 83million baby boomers health, SS cost. That's what you need to worry about cause, that is TAXES....and you will have to pay it. Good luck

The national debt has increased from 5.5 trillion in 2000 to over 8 trillion now -- a 50% increase in just over 6 years.
And that's going to take decades to pay off at best.
No, most kids are not being told this.

Or maybe we can work on becoming more productive, more competitive, more inventive, more studious, more positive, and build a economy that is growing, and therefore producing more tax revenue at the current rates, paying down the debt.
Opportunity abounds in every corner of the world. If we just believe and chase opportunity, those other minor issues of debt will erase themselves..

Republicans are anti american it somewhat is that straightforward. I undergo in innovations democrats and independents transforming into to be a member of with Bush after 9/11 to combat terror. they'd have somewhat savaged him and had him impeached in the event that they chosen to by using fact the data replaced into there. he no longer in basic terms did no longer act in time yet he ignored secure practices briefs that pronounced in basic OBL desperate TO STRIKE. They failed back and back. they even led to the debt ceiling cave in and the wall highway cave in. they'd besides led to the deaths of 3000 human beings and endless others in iraq and to dazzling all of it off iraq and iran are actually allies. that would desire to never had handed off had saddam nevertheless been in potential. and that i examine their inner memo to dealing with Obama and it stated that they'd desire to "combat him on each little thing," they thought this replaced right into a competent thought throughout the worst financial disaster interior the historic previous of the rustic which they led to. they're un american.

Tax cuts generate tax revenue which is paying off the national debt. It will be paid off in about 2 years. No country has ever enjoyed wealth from being taxed to death. The children will have a lower standard of living and fewer opportunities due to taxation. It is you that is having the difficulty understanding this.

And yet revenues skyrocketed this year for the Federal Government and likely will again next year. Sadly the liberal congress (both parties) will spend even more. The "pork" chops offered up by the new leaders of the House and Senate are appalling and I doubt our youth will care much about them.
